I loved how crispy they got after their time in the frying pan. They developed this beautiful crust that satisfied the desire to bite into something crunchy which is often what I'm looking for. The texture was also pretty good although I must admit, I've had better nuggets in the past from the likes of Yves or Gardein back home in Canada. Also, much like the schnitzels, they were begging for salt, without it they would have been fairly bland. That punch of salt really brought out the flavour which was in fact, quite tasty.
BYPASS or BUY? - I'd say it depends on what you're looking for and who you're serving. If it's just for you, I'd suggest going for the schnitzels. I found them to be more satisfying and meal like when paired with a salad. If it's a late night snack kind of thing, the nuggets will work perfectly. As I said, they require considerable amounts of salt because they are otherwise quite bland but you know what, they definitely satisfy that desire for a crunchy snack and they deliver a plethora of plant based goodness.
