Caprese Salad is something I've eaten several times but never prepared. There are several variations to this dish all centering around 4 simple ingredients; Fresh Tomatoes, Mozzarella, fresh Basil, and Balsamic reduction.
I've never made a balsamic reduction before so I did a little searching online and found a recipe through the Pioneer Woman below which outlines very simply how to prepare the reduction!
As for the salad itself expect me to switch up the traditional, I'm thinking Roma grape tomatoes for sure, can't wait to try it
I can still remember how excited I was in cooking class to be witness to the preparation of arancini! I had only ever tried it once and it was absolutely delicious. Crispy on the outside and bursting with flavour on the inside. Dressed in a light tomato sauce and fresh parsley it appeared before me looking nothing short of heavenly. I needed to eventually prepare it myself and now is that time.
I've looked over this recipe and can see some things I need to adjust so this will definitely be an exciting experience I can't wait to share with you !
