I've officially hit a road block.
I've been redirected to every person imaginable who then either redirects me or simply doesn't respond to my emails. Most recently I was told to contact my local parliament in hopes of opening dialogue about bestiality and our poor protections of animals in these cases. I emailed her over 2 weeks ago and have not heard back from her. She is either incredibly busy or just doesn't care enough to respond. My next mission is to contact my Ontario representative (Kathleen Wynne) in hopes of having her help me in this case. I couldn't be more frustrated with the lackluster response I'm getting from these people. There are a million problems in the world that require they attention which I fully understand but there is no denying that our animal protection laws are severely outdated and lacking any real protection for animals. When is the right time to address them? How many more cases will slip under the radar and go unpunished because our country can't take time out of their schedules to address this problem. A problem that is in dire need of a solution. A problem that involves innocent creatures being forced in to situations that are horrifying and explicit. A problem that will continue to be a problem unless action is finally taken! My country is letting me down. It's letting me down for letting the hundreds of thousands of animals that need help and protection down. My country is failing its animals. When will the time be appropriate for making a change? I will update you after I receive word back from my Ontario Premier. HAPPY VEG
